BISMARCK, N.D. - The Bioscience Innovation Grant Fund Committee will meet at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2024, and at 9 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2024, in the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s 6th floor conference room at the State Capitol building.

BISMARCK – Governor Doug Burgum has proclaimed May 20-27, 2024, as Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week in North Dakota.

BISMARCK – With warmer weather on the way, it is important for the public to be aware of invasive species. Each year, harmful invasive weeds, plant pests and diseases cost the U.S. $40 billion in losses to cropland, grasslands, woody areas, forests and riparian areas, and expensive eradication and control efforts, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

BISMARCK, N.D. – Anhydrous ammonia nurse tank owners are urged to check the manufacturer and manufacture date of their nurse tanks after a safety advisory was issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration about the possibility of catastrophic tank failure. Tanks made by the American Welding and Tank (AWT) Company in Fremont, Ohio, between Jan. 1, 2007, and Dec. 31, 2011, have had integrity issues with the welding and may rupture.

The Dakota Prairie Grasslands and Grazing Associations Working Group will meet at 10 a.m., Friday, April 12, in the Pioneer room of the judicial wing of the State Capitol.

BISMARCK - The Crop Protection Product Harmonization and Registration Board will meet at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, in the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s 6th floor conference room at the State Capitol.
